I'm glad that Yuri managed to get in touch with Kail. She proved herself again in this episode. Prince Kail came with his force and attacked the Mitanni. Yuri also fought. But how did she become so skilled in swordsmanship in such a short time. Then the Hittites then won easily because of the locals assisting them. The queen never misses a chance. But Yuri destroyed her plan. She is a clever girl. Prince Kail was upset after the abduction. Yuri thought it was about what happened with Zannanza. Yes, he is upset about that. But there is also another reason. He is sad about Yuri's return to her home. Everything in this anime is too shallow. The battle wasn't impressive at all. Some guys attacked out of nowhere and they also retreated easily.

Why the hell did a bunch of grown men who are soldiers run from her she is small and a girl? I don't remember that happening in the manga. That is lame and stupid and pretty much killed it for me. She is a superhero in the anime. lol

自分の理解では（少なくともそう示唆されている）、ザナンザの一件のおかげでカイルは、ユーリには自分と出会う前に別の人生と恋（氷室）があったのだと思い知らされ、冷たく振る舞って距離を置こうとしている。遅すぎるとはいえ、無いよりはましだ。ユーリはそれを嫌な奴だと受け取り、二人は以前のように親しくはない。この筋書き自体は好きだ。きらきらした甘さだけより複雑さがある。／ただ、作画とアニメーションが本当にひどい。絵がもっと良く、アニメーションと間の取り方が良く、音楽が合っていれば、こういう場面はちゃんと決まったはずだ。着想そのものは悪くない。実行がひどいのだ。残念ながら、制作陣は原作漫画にまったく見合っていないと思う。

So from what I understood (at least it's implied), Kail gets a reminder that Yuri had a whole other life and love (Himuro) before him thanks to the Zannanza incident and is trying to distance himself by acting cold. Better late than never, I guess. Yuri thinks he's a jerk for it, they're no longer friendly. I actually do like that plotline, brings in more complexity than sparkle fluff. But wow, the drawings and animation are soooooo shit. If the art was better, if animation, pacing was better, with the right music, etc. then scenes could be pulled off. The ideas aren't necessarily bad, but the execution is shit. Sadly I don't think the animation team is doing the original manga justice at all...

That scene where Yuri jumps at soldiers and they immediately run away was bizzare, following dialogue with an old lady was awkward. I wonder how closely this anime follows manga. Because I read it long time ago and I remember it was great and captivating, nothing like this anime.
